Cyber Coffee adheres to and is bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988. This Act is designed to protect the confidentiality of information and the privacy of the individual by ensuring that data is handled in an appropriate manner.
Visitors to Cyber Coffee's website leave behind some non-identifying information. This includes, but is not limited to, their IP address, the number of pages visited, how they arrived at the site and where they left. This information cannot be used to identify an individual user. This information is collected to assist in the development of new and relevant features for visitors and for collating statistical data.

Information you provide to us
When we process your order, we need information such as your name, email address, delivery address and payment details.
This information will be used only for the purpose you have supplied it. If you send us an e-mail message requesting information, we will use your email address and other information you supply to respond to your request. If you have requested that a gift be sent to a delivery address, we will use this information to fulfil the order.

To the extent that any information is received by us containing credit card details, the information is sent using Secure Sockets Layer (‘SSL’) which encrypts your personal information and password before they are transmitted via the web. This ensures that your personal credit card information cannot be read by others or tampered with en route.

Security of Information
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Whilst we strive to protect such information, we do not warrant and cannot ensure the security of any information which you transmit to us. Accordingly, any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk. Nevertheless, once we receive your transmission, we will take reasonable steps to preserve the security of such information.

Indemnity
You acknowledge that we use a payments system developed by SmartWin Technology (www.smartwin.com.au). To the extent that any claim is made by you, you indemnify and hold harmless SmartWin Technology and Cyber Coffee against costs (including without limitation legal costs on a solicitor-client basis), expenses, damages, accounts or other losses or liability, including but not limited to those from any actions, suits, proceedings, claims or demands, made against or suffered by you, arising out of the use by you of the website.

Disclosure & Sharing of Personal Information
Cyber Coffee does not share with or sell personal information to any third parties now or in the future.  However, Cyber Coffee reserves the right to share personal information with third parties if required to do so by law or to assist in legal investigations.

Subscription
Customers and visitors also have the option of joining the Cyber Coffee mailing list / Coffee Club. As part of this sign-up process, Cyber Coffee collects personal information such as name and email address. As part of this subscription, Cyber Coffee will send promotional information to subscribers. Subscribers can "opt out" of receiving this information at any time with no repercussions.
